Whats hot and Whats not

I enjoy Las Vegas as the story line is normally intriguing and if it isn’t it is good fun to watch all the people doing their thing in the casino. The cast are good to look at so who wouldn’t want to watch Danny or Delinda strut their stuff. Sam being a total ICE QUEEN all the time and Mr. Delainey always  cool and  in control.  One  person I get a little annoyed with is the chick Mary, with her botox and boobs, now there is fake if you have ever seen fake.

Oscar and Golden Globe Award nominee James Caan (“The Godfather,” “Misery”) stars as Ed Deline, the head of the surveillance team for the Montecito Resort & Casino. With his protégé, Danny McCoy (Josh Duhamel, “All My Children”) a former U.S. Marine and Las Vegas native, they deal with card-counting cheaters, costly streaks of random luck and rival casinos stealing their big-money players.

Rounding out this cast of high rollers is Ed’s daughter, Delinda (Molly Sims, MTV’s “Starsky and Hutch”), Mary Connell (Nikki Cox, “Nikki”), Mike Cannon (James Lesure, “For Your Love”) and Samantha “Sam” Jane (Vanessa Marcil, “Beverly Hills, 90210”).

I started watching the American based Biggest Loser and was totally captivated after seeing the results. They went absolutely crazy loosing their weight and to have seen them transformed and seeing their entire lives change on national TV I was really geared to go even in my personal life to loose my mere 5kg that has been bugging me. The program was very emotional but I was really astounded by the Americans and their performance. So of course when the SA version started I was glued to see the beginning and was set to not miss one single program. I am truly disappointed at this version though as all the people in the house are truly not focussed on losing weight and through all the skinner and game planning I have lost total interest. It is like they imagine themselves to be in Survivor SA instead of the Biggest Loser. The woman are the most frustrating and I have been used to bitchiness in my life but man I really didn’t imagine FULL grown woman to act in this manner - and excuse the pun !!I really hope the instructors pull them together and sort them out !!! This show is a disgrace to our SA standards!!I am eagerly waiting to be corrected, but these contestants should really focus at the tasks at hand.

So its the beginning of the year and at lass there is something to watch on SABC2 and 3!! I enjoy the Apprentice so much and it is good to see what other successful people get up to out there, and of course how they react after claiming their titles on AIR. The first show started on Tuesday night the 15th January @ 19:30 and I don’t have any favorites yet but my least favorite and most irritating candidate, Melissa was FIRED. Boy o Boy was she annoying, and even claiming in the boardroom that she couldn’t work with woman and that woman found her intimidating because of her good looks and intellect. Man was that irritating, blaming other females because you are so damn irritating and unprofessional. I was truly annoyed with her tantrums and swearing. But great minds think alike and MELISSA, YOU’RE FIRED !!!So as it goes on I will get my favorites and I will enjoy the boardroom and the quarrels within with sure joy.

Come on, there is only one or two TV SHOWS on SABC worth watching … and when do you see high powered business men and woman running across a golf course in search of Donald Trumps private helicopter. High heels flying, tempers firing out of control and butts kicked out of the boardroom. Definitely my kinda show ….
