A little closer to home than Cape to Cuba in Kalkbay. This is a similar restaurant/club in town and the  vibe is truly authentic. I had enormous fun and the food and Mojito’s was great. Rustic and relaxing atmosphere.

There are few restaurants in Cape Town that can compete with Buena Vista when it comes to providing an authentic atmosphere. The Cuban feel is unmistakable from the moment you climb the somewhat shabby staircase with its faded paintwork. An eclectic assortment of furniture harmonises perfectly with the natural brick walls which display a myriad of prints, photos and paintings depicting Cuban culture. The mood is enhanced by listening to a selection of classic and contemporary Latino music whilst enjoying one of the many superb cocktails on offer.
